How do I restore my subscription?
Go to Settings in the app, scroll down, and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used to purchase.
Where is my data stored?
Your journal entries are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync, they're also backed up to your personal iCloud account. We never store your entries on our servers.
Can I export my journal entries?
Yes! Go to Settings → Export Journal Backup. This creates a JSON file you can save or transfer.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
You'll keep all your existing entries. You just won't be able to create new entries beyond the free trial limit until you resubscribe.
Is my journal private?
Yes. Your entries are protected by Face ID/Touch ID, optionally encrypted, and never sent to our servers. Only you can read your journal.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly subscription?
Both give you the same features (unlimited entries, AI analysis, mood tracking). Yearly is cheaper per month and billed once per year.
Can I use my own OpenAI API key?
Yes! If you prefer to use your own API key (BYOK), go to Settings and enter your key. This gives you full control over your AI usage.
